LUX AETERNA
Artist Statement
LUX AETERNA is a series of fictional Vogue covers - part satire, part liturgy - where glamour becomes
weapon, and fashion becomes a form of spiritual unrest.
Religious leaders, political icons and cultural deities are remade in excess: smeared lips, golden chains, and
tear-streaked faces. Beauty collapses under the weight of its own spectacle.
Each image is a shrine. Each shrine, a mask. Each mask, a mirror.
This is not homage. This is excommunication by glamour.
Produced under my multimedia company Double O Roos, this work explores the boundary between fashion and morality, digital seduction and human truth.
Beauty doesn’t have to behave.
It can roar, rupture, bleed — and shine.
